Aviation Data Disclaimer
The distances provided by this tool are calculated using the Haversine formula, which measures the shortest "great-circle" distance over the Earth's surface between two points. Actual commercial flight routes are rarely perfectly straight due to Air Traffic Control (ATC) corridors, restricted airspace, and jet stream avoidance. The estimated flight time assumes an average commercial airliner cruising speed of 800 km/h (500 mph) and includes a standard 30-minute buffer for takeoff and landing patterns. Weather and aircraft types will alter actual travel times.
